Fees and Membership Levels

All swimmers must have a current USMS membership in order to join or swim with Swim Out.

USMS does offer 30-day trial memberships (for free) which allows for swimming with Swim Out masters. New and trial members are subject to Swim Out's drop-in fees for any event registered.

Tier 1 Member

Cost: $65 per month

This is the level with the greatest benefits. This level includes the option to swim with Swim Out masters club at any and all practices, at any facility, during your membership period. All practices are coached by a certified USMS coach.

Currently, there are at least 5 practices per week at 3 different locations and at different times of day. It's important to note that this is schedule is based on our facilities' ability to accommodate the swims. The schedule is always subject to change.

Prerequisite:

Since there is a reciprocal arrangement between Swim Out and Rosen Aquatic and Fitness Center (RAFC), this membership level requires a membership to RAFC. This arrangement allows for RAFC memberships of Swim Out members at the RAFC hospitality rate, which is 50% of the regular rate. The RAFC membership also means you have full use of the facility aside from the Swim Out masters swims.

Tier 2 Member

Cost: $55 per month

This level includes the option to swim with Swim Out masters club at all practices NOT held at the Rosen Aquatic and Fitness Center (RAFC) during your membership period. All practices are coached by a certified USMS coach.

Currently, there are at least 3 practices per week at 2 different locations and at different times of day. It's important to note that this is schedule is based on our facilities' ability to accommodate the swims. The schedule is always subject to change.

Note:

Since there is a reciprocal arrangement between Swim Out and Rosen Aquatic and Fitness Center (RAFC), this membership level doesn't include masters swims at the RAFC facility. However, for an additional PER EVENT fee, this membership level allows Swim Out members the ability to use the facility's amenities.

Also available: Tier 2 Student Discount level. Same details as above, except the cost is $42 per month.

Cost: 0

This membership is the most flexible, and allows for the ability of members to join any Swim Out masters swim within the membership period using the drop-in fee. The drop-in fees vary by facility. All new members of Swim Out start at this membership level so there is no commitment, and it's a 30-day period for new members. Note that a membership upgrade can be requested to one of the tier membership levels prior to the 30 days.

This membership is also suitable for members of other teams or visitors to the area.

Drop-in fees are as follows:

$12 per event at locations NTC and Cady Way

$16 per event at RAFC location

Join or renew your USMS membership? Join USMS online or renew.
The coach on deck can verify your active membership. You cannot become or remain a member of Swim Out without an active USMS membership. The USMS membership is important as it provides insurance in case of accidents while you are participating in events with the team. This protects both you and the team. There are many benefits to being a USMS member. Additional USMS information can be found at USMS.org.

Complete the Swim Out online membership, including the Liability Form and submit it online? This is essentially creating an online account, and the team needs your waiver, attendance records, and emergency contact information. Just choose the option for new swimmer.

Pay your dues? We prefer you pay your dues by paying via your online membership renewal. Your dues cover pool fees, lifeguards, coaching, equipment, our participation in club events, administrative fees and much more.
